Nicasio Rancher Meets Sad Death

Pietro Ottolini, a rancher of Nicasio, met sudden death last Sunday when he slipped and fell over the bank of a creek and was suffocated before he could recover from the shock of the fall. He was discovered sometime afterwards by his brother, G. Ottolini, and a party of searchers, face down in the soft earth at the edge of the water.

The deceased was about 44 years of age and unmarried. He had been in this country with his brother for several years. The funeral was held Tuesday at Olema, under the direction of Dr. F. E. Sawyer, and was largely attended.
