ADRIENNE B. GARVIN
Adrienne B. Garvin of San Rafael, who worked for the James L. Callan and Sons jewelry store for more than 20 years, died Saturday at her Terra Linda home. She was 74.
Mrs. Garvin worked as a saleswoman for the downtown San Rafael jewelry store between 1960 and 1982.
She was born in Pittsfield, Ill.
In 1950, she moved to California. Six years later she settled in Terra Linda.
Before joining the jewelry store, Mrs. Garvin worked as a dancer and a dance instructor.
She is survived by her husband, Frank E. Garvin; four sons, David D. Garvin of Martinez, Grover J. Garvin of Oakland and Frank T. Garvin of Rohnert Park and Gary M. Garvin of Rohnert Park; a daughter, Adrienne E. Hall of Elko, Nev.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.
Burial will be private.
The family prefers memorial contributions to a favorite charity.
