HAROLD HOLMAN
A funeral with military honors has been held in Chanute, Kan. for former Novato resident Harold Dean Holman.
He died Aug. 5 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Wichita, Kan., after an illness. He was 60.
Mr. Holman was born in Chanute and served with the Navy during World War II. He settled in Novato in 1955, where he lived for 19 years before he moved back to Kansas.
He was a painter and wallpaper hanger.
Mr. Holman is survived by two daughters, Janet Shank of Eugene, Ore., and Mary Muckey of Anchorage, Alaska; a sister, Wilma Taubin of Virgil, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanaute.
