MALCOLM SWIFT GREEN

The funeral was held Tuesday in Napa for Malcolm Swift Green, a former longtime Southern Marin resident and Sausalito pharmacist.

Mr. Green died Thursday at Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa after a lengthy illness. He was 74.

He was born in Placerville and had lived in Sausalito and Mill Valley from 1932 to 1968. It was during those years that he worked as a pharmacist in Sausalito.

Mr. Green was a member of the Native Sons of the Golden West, Seapoint Parlor of Sausalito.

He is survived by a son, Michael Green of Mill Valley; a daughter, Beverly Shurtz of Novato; two brothers, Walter Green of St. Helena and Larry Green of Cazadero; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Burial was at Tulocay Cemetery in Napa.
