Manuel Francisco Rites Set Tuesday
Requiem Mass for Manuel J. Francisco is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Raphael’s Church in San Rafael. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at the Keaton mortuary chapel in San Rafael.
The longtime Bolinas dairy rancher died yesterday at the age of 69.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the husband of Mary Francisco and father of Mrs. Mamie Fontes and Mrs. Rose Tacherra of Bolinas, Tony Francisco of Oxnard and Mrs. Lydia Tacherra of Modesto. He was the brother of Antonio J. Francisco, Mrs. Maria Olivera and Mrs. Sarafina Brabo of the Azores. He was the grandfather of Frank Fontes, William James, Rose Marie and Ernest Tacherra, Manuel, Lydia and Adriane Francisco and Mariani Tacherra. He was a native of St. George, Azores island, and a member of UPEC, Sausalito and IDESSI, Petaluma.
