PHILLIP LEE
A funeral for Phillip Lee, a five-year resident of Mill Valley, was held Tuesday evening in the Russell and Gooch Chapel in Mill Valley.
Mr. Lee died Monday in Kaiser Hospital, Terra Linda. He was 89.
He was born in London, England, and served in the Canadian military engineers during World War I. He spent most of his life as an accountant in Detroit.
He was a former member of Sons in Retirement in Marin County.
Mr. Lee is survived by three sons, Dr. Robert Lee of Mill Valley, Dr. Thomas Lee of Grosse Point, Mich., and Phillip Lee of Union Lake, Mich.; a sister, Lillian Murphy of Venice, Fla.; a brother, Stanley Lee of Windsor, Canada; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will be private.
