RICHARD BAUMGARTNER
A memorial service for Richard G. Baumgartner of Sausalito will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley.
Mr. Baumgartner died unexpectedly Wednesday at Marin General Hospital. He was 57.
He was a native of Augsburg, Germany, and had lived in Sausalito for 25 years.
Mr. Baumgartner was a fine jewelry distribution manager for Macy’s.
He formerly was an avid hiker on Mount Tamalpais.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Baumgartner of Sausalito; a brother, Fred Baumgartner of Germany; and a sister, Lotte Baumgartner, also of Germany.
