Man Dies On Way To Health Resort

On his way from San Francisco to El Verano in an automobile Monday night, Paul Mosner, formerly of Sonoma City, told his driver to pass down Fourth street until he was told to turn. The chauffeur crossed the railroad tracks and spoke to his passenger. Receiving no reply, he looked back. Mosner was cold in death. The driver’s name was Simmons. He had been employed by Mosner in the city.

Mosner was suffering from tuberculosis and was going to El Verano for the benefit of his health. The remains were taken to Coroner Sawyer’s parlors, and the deceased was quickly identified through communication with the Dewey Hotel, where he had been staying for several months. Mosner had been in the bicycle repair business in Sonoma before his physical condition caused him to retire. He was about 50 years of age.
