ALICE L. PRICE
Alice L. Price, a longtime Novato resident, died Saturday at Novato Community Hospital after a long illness. She was 55.
Mrs. Price was born in San Francisco and lived in Novato for 30 years.
She had worked for the Aero Heating and Sheet Metal Co. in Novato for seven years. She previously worked for DeMello Roofing in San Rafael.
Mrs. Price was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Novato Volunteer Fire Department and had been active in the Parent-Teacher Association. She was a past president of the North Marin PTA Council.
She also was an avid reader and gardener.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Richard W. Price of Novato; a son, Ronald R. Price of Petaluma; three daughters, Kathleen Price of San Francisco, and Marcella Taylor and Felicia J. Price, both of Novato; a brother, Robert Rybicki of San Lorenzo; two sisters, Marie Cain of San Francisco and Diane Thrailkill of Novato; and six grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony’s Church in Novato. Recitation of the rosary will be at 8 tonight at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin in Novato.
Burial will be at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno. The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the Marin County Chapter of the Kidney Foundation, 11 Belle Ave., San Anselmo, or a favorite charity.
