Mill Valley Merchant Buried Wednesday
Karl Kaths, one of Mill Valley’s pioneer merchants and prominent citizens, passed away at his home Sunday night after a short illness. He had taken to his bed but a few days previously.
An unusually large funeral was held at the Kaths home yesterday, nearly every merchant in town attending. Every business place in town closed during the service. The remains were removed to Oakland for burial.
The deceased is survived by a widow and three children. He was 46 years old.
