VINCENT BURNS
Vincent Burns of San Rafael died Friday at Marin General Hospital. He was 52. Arrangements were pending with Neptune Society in San Francisco.

VINCENT JOSEPH BURNS
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Sebastian’s Catholic Church in Kentfield for Vincent Joseph Burns of San Rafael, a financial planner and avid sailor and photographer.
Mr. Burns, 52, died unexpectedly Friday at Marin General Hospital.
Mr. Burns most recently was associated with American Savings and Loan Association in San Francisco.
He was born in New York City and came to the Bay Area in 1968. For a few years, he left to live in Hawaii Three years ago, he moved to San Rafael.
He had served in the Korean War as an army sergeant.
Before moving to Marin, he often sailed his 40-foot ketch, My Sweet Lady, in the South Pacific.
He was a member of the Loch Lomond Yacht Club in San Rafael.
He is survived by his companion, Carol Kenworthy of San Rafael; a son, Vincent Kelly Burns of Bloomfield, Ill.; and a daughter, Tara Kathleen Burns of Columbus, Ohio. The family prefers donations in his memory to a favorite charity.
