ROBERT H. KLAWANS

Robert H. Klawans, a resident of San Rafael, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 1987, on his 69th birthday, after a long illness.

Mr. Klawans was a retired operations analyst with the Social Security Administration and also a former jazz musician. He was a native of Chicago and was a graduate of the University of Chicago.

He was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and also of the Bay Area Social Security Alumni Association.

During World War II, he served with the Army.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; his daughter, Nancy; and two sons, Barry and Donald.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Also, he expressed no preference regarding memorial donations.
