EMMA E. “MIMI” NAVARRO
A Mass of Christian Burial for Emma E. “Mimi” Navarro of San Francisco, mother of Daniel P. Donovan of Novato, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Brendan’s Church in San Francisco. Mrs. Navarro died Monday, Aug. 31, 1987, at St. Mary’s Hospital in San Francisco after a lengthy illness. She was 82.
Mrs. Navarro was born in San Francisco and lived there all her life.
She was a retired bookkeeper for a pharmacy.
She also is survived by two daughters, Berthile E. Warren of Cherry Valley, Riverside County, and Rochelle J. Jovick of San Francisco; a second son, Robert F. Donovan of Sunnyvale; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited this evening at 8 at Halsted-Gray-Carew and English in San Francisco. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
