ALLAN M. McCLURE
A memorial gathering for Allan M. McClure, a 14-year resident of Novato, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at his home at 1441 Buchanan St.
He died Sunday, Aug. 30, 1987, at Kaiser Hospital in Terra Linda after a long illness. He was 70.
He was born in Oakland and raised in Southern California.
Mr. McClure lived in Marin County since the mid-1930s, mostly in Mill Valley.
He was a construction worker, operating heavy equipment. He retired in 1980.
Mr. McClure was a member of the Operating Engineers Union of Marin County.
Survivors are his wife, Estelle McClure of Novato; three sons, James McClure of Mill Valley, Clifford McClure of San Rafael and Patrick McClure of Boonville; two stepsons, Jerry Olf of Los Angeles and Glenn Olf of Portola Valley; a brother, Raymond McClure of Auburn; a sister, Laura McLaughlin of Vacaville, and 11 grandchildren.
Burial will be private.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Cancer Society, Hospice of Marin or a favorite charity.
