MYRTLE M. LUCAS
Myrtle M. Lucas, a longtime Mill Valley resident, died Friday at Kaiser Hospital in Terra Linda at the age of 74.
Mrs. Lucas, a native of Louisiana, had moved to Marin 33 years ago.
She was a life member and past president of the Second District of the San Francisco PTA and was a member of the Marin Christian Center of Mill Valley.
Her husband, Jack G. P. Lucas, died in 1978.
Mrs. Lucas is survived by a daughter, Carol A. Cochran of Daly City; two sons, James J. Lucas of Brisbane and Jack D. Lucas of Danbury, Conn.; a sister, Violet Oggs of Branden, Miss.; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. July 28 at the Marin Christian Center, 260 E. Blithedale Ave., Mill Valley.
The family has asked that memorial donations be sent to Hospice of Marin or the Marin Christian Center.
