GLEN REID
Glen Reid passed away in San Rafael on Monday, Feb. 26, 2001. He was 71.
Mr. Reid was born and reared in Panguitch, UT before moving to California as a teenager. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War until his honorable discharge. After his discharge from the Army he moved to Novato where he lived for 35 years.
Mr. Reid worked as a shop foreman for E.D. Bullard & Co. for many years before working for 13 years as a plant operator for Los Gallinas Sanitary District in San Rafael until his retirement in 1995.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Novato Ward.
Beloved husband of June M. Reid of Novato. Loving father of Donald Reid (Dee Ann) of Minnesota, Stephen Reid (Meri) of Corte Madera, Jeffrey Wilson (Colette) of Cotati, Robert Reid (Nicole) of Novato and Amy Ellen Reid and Adam Reid, both of Novato. Loving brother of Ted Reid (Faye) of Novato, Charlotte Shaw of Idaho and Myrtle Lee of Utah. Adored grandfather of eleven grandchildren.
Services were held March 3, 2001 at the Novato Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Private internment was at Valley Memorial Park.
The family prefers memorial contributions in his memory be made to the American Diabetes Association, 631 Howard St., San Francisco, CA 94105.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Adobe Creek Funeral Home, Petaluma.
