Ferdinand Koenisberger, aged 89 years, died on Friday of last week at the Cottage Hospital where he had been taken only a few hours before from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Brown, with whom he had lived for some years. According to friends he was of a most retiring disposition but was constantly doing acts of charity among the needy all unknown to the public. He was formerly a tobacco merchant of San Francisco and accumulated a small fortune which kept him from want in his old age. Burial was made in San Francisco.
