LEWIS PUTNAM
Funeral services for Lewis A. (Lee) Putnam, Mill Valley landscape gardener, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Russell and Gooch mortuary. Putnam died Monday at a local hospital after a short illness.
Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais cemetery, San Rafael.
Putnam, 61, was born in South Dakota and had lived in California 40 years, residing at 6 Thomas Drive, Mill Valley. He had been a landscape gardener for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Annie H. Putnam, a son, Robert L. Putnam of Sonora, and brothers and sisters in South Dakota.
