Second Death In Leonardi Family

John Leonardi, the oldest son of Natale Leonardi, died last night after but a week’s illness from appendicitis.

This is the second death in the sorrowing father’s family within a short time, his wife having passed away about four months ago.

The boy was taken ill a week ago and preparations were being made to perform an operation.

Until the close of the last term, the boy had attended the San Rafael high school. At that time he accepted employment at the Carson Glove company.

Besides his father, he is survived by four brothers, Louis, Raymond, Edward and Attilio.

The funeral under the direction of the Edward Eden Undertaking Parlors, will be held Saturday at 9 o’clock and mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael’s church. Burial will be made in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
