LOUELLA BYNUM
Louella Bynum, former longtime Marin resident, died Monday in a Lake County hospital after a long illness. She was 74.
Mrs. Bynum lived in San Anselmo about 25 years and operated Louella’s Alteration Shop there until retiring in 1971. Her husband, Travis R. Bynum, worked for Neil Cummins School in Corte Madera. They moved to Nice, Lake County, when they retired.
Mrs. Bynum was a native of Alabama.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Bob Bynum of Sebastopol, Glen Bynum of Santa Maria and Tom Bynum of Nice; one daughter, Betty Dunn of San Rafael, and thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Jones and Rouland Mortuary in Lucerne, Lake County. Friends may call at t he mortuary from 7 to 9 tonight.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
