Miss Frances A. Stewart is mourning the death of her cousin, Sir James Stewart Menteth, nephew of the late Earl of Mar, who recently passed away at his birthplace in Canandaigua, New York. He was a stanch American and never used his title. His relatives in San Francisco are Miss Virginia and Charlotte Stewart and Mrs. E. L. Goold and Herbert Goold, lately appointed to the Hon. Embassy in Bolivia.
