VICTOR E. MAAS
Memorial service for Victor E. Maas, 69, of 312 Montego Key, Novato, a retired employee of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Co., will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin in Novato. He died Saturday in a local hospital after a long illness.
A native of San Francisco, he lived there all of his life until moving to Novato five years ago on retiring after 30 years with the telephone company.
He was a member of the San Francisco Press Club and was a board member and former treasurer of the Spring Opera of San Francisco and the Pioneer Club of Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Co.
He is survived by his wife, Mary C. Maas of the home and a brother, Gustave H. Maas of San Francisco.
Burial arrangements are pending at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin in Novato.
Memorial contributions to the Marin County chapter of the Heart Fund would be appreciated by the family.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the uncle of Mrs. Draper Howard, San Francisco.
