WILLIAM PHILLIPS
Funeral for William Phillips, a retired gardener, will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Russell and Gooch Mortuary, Mill Valley.
Phillips, 87, of 10 Thomas Drive, Mill Valley, died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness.
A native of England, he had lived in Marin County since 1942. He was a gardener at Hamilton Air Force Base for 13 years.
Phillips is survived by his wife, Iva, of the home address; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Moe of Mount Holly, N.J.; and five stepchildren, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Burial will be private.
