Charles Baldwin, who was sent to the Ukiah Insane Asylum a few months ago, died in that institution Wednesday. At the time the dreadful malady came upon him he was agent in Sausalito for the San Francisco dailies and resided here with his wife and little son. Becoming incapacitated from attending to his business, Mr. Becker took charge until the deceased’s family sold the route to Mr. Iverson, the present owner. Too close attention to business was claimed as the primary cause of the loss of his reason. Deceased was universally esteemed by all who knew him. He leaves a wife, child and mother to mourn his untimely death.
