BILL STRICKLIN

A graveside service for Bill Stricklin of Fairfax will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.

Stricklin died in his home Tuesday following a long illness. He was 72.

A native of Hot Springs, Ark., Stricklin moved to Marin County eight years ago. Before his retirement, he worked for the Hollandia Dairy in Escondido for 21 years. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church in San Anselmo.

Stricklin is survived by his wife Oneda; two daughters, Wanda Stricklin of Fairfax and Pansy Barron of Denver; one son, Don Stricklin of Novato; his brother, Luther Stricklin of Hot Springs; two sisters, Maude Roberts and Emma Buccheit, both of Hot Springs; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo from 4 to 8 tonight.

The family prefers memorial gifts to the Hospice of Marin.
