ADOLPH J. PARODI


A Mass of Christian Burial for Adolph J. Parodi, 75, of San Francisco will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Monday at Mission Dolores, San Francisco.

Parodi, father of Priscilla “Pat” Petersen and Claudia Schaumleffel, both of Novato, died Thursday at his home after an illness.

He was the owner of Parodi’s Floral Co. in San Francisco, started by his father in 1906.

Parodi was a native and lifelong resident of San Francisco.

Survivng, besides his daughters, are his wife, Thelma Parodi of San Francisco; a sister, Edith (Ida) Geerts of San Francisco; and six grandchildren.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Halsted and Co., San Francisco. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.

The family prefers memorial contributions be made to the Adolph J. Parodi Trust Fund, Hospice, in care of the Bank of America, 160 Church St., San Francisco, 94114.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the father-in-law of Raymond Petersen and Jack Schaumleffer, and grandfather of Richard, Michael, Jeffrey and Cynthia Petersen, Kristin and Paul Schaumleffel.
