HARRIET M. GREENE
Private funeral services have been held for Harriet M. Greene, 83, of Stinson Beach. She died at a local hospital on Saturday after a short illness.
A native of San Francisco, she had lived in Stinson Beach since 1948.
She was active in community affairs. She was a former secretary of the Stinson Beach Community Center and the Stinson Beach Volunteer Fire Department. She also was the secretary for the group which formed the Stinson Beach County Water District.
Mrs. Greene had been a member and officer of the Stinson Beach Allied Arts group.
She is survived by a sister, Ruth Miller of Stinson Beach.
Arrangements are being handled by Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley. The family prefers memorial gifts to the Stinson Beach Community Center or the Stinson Beach Community Presbyterian Church. Inurnment will be at Olivet Memorial Park, Colma.
