Maurice Wolfe Dead In Accident
The funeral of Maurice Wolfe, the San Rafael boy who met death by accident, last Friday in the shipbuilding yards at San Pedro was held this morning.
The news came here that day that Maurice, employed there as an electrician, had been struck by a falling derrick while going from his work to a doctor’s office for treatment of a slight cut of his finger. He died shortly after the accident.
Maurice was well known here, where he was born and reared. For many years he was employed by the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company, and in that employment he had traveled all over the county. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jean Wolfe, who was Miss Irwin, his two little children, a boy and a girl, and his widowed mother, Mrs. Ellen Wolfe.
The funeral will be held at St. Raphael’s Church and the interment will be under the direction of the Eden Undertaking Parlors of C street.
The deceased was 32 years of age.
