John A. Griffin, formerly a partner of John Brown in the Walhalla saloon, South Sausalito, dropped dead from heart disease while at his work in the union Iron Works, San Francisco, on Thursday, November 21st, and was buried in Mt. Olivet cemetery, San Mateo county on Saturday.
