Mrs. Anne Saunders Called By Death
The funeral of Mrs. Anne J. Saunders, one of Marin county’s pioneer residents, was held Wednesday at St. Paul’s Episcopal church, and the ceremony in the presence of a large gathering of family friends and relatives was one of the most impressive in recent years.
The deceased passed away at her home on Petaluma avenue August 5th after an illness from pneumonia contracted less than ten days before.
She was the widow of the late James Saunders, and the mother of Tax Collector John A. Saunders, Jeanette I. Saunders, Gertrude E. Saunders, Mrs. Stephen Porcella of Novato and Mrs. Victor Orella, of Oakland.
