JUNE H. TOWNSLEY
The funeral service for June H. Townsley, 66, a retired restaurant worker of San Rafael, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael.
Mrs. Townsley died Tuesday at a local hospital after an illness.
She is the wife of Hamilton E. Townsley of San Rafael. She and her husband, residents of Marin for about 40 years, had operated a restaurant and bakery for many years.
They started in Sausalito and then had a business in San Rafael from the late 1940s to 1960.
After 1960 Mrs. Townsley had worked for various restaurants in Marin for 15 years.
She was a native of Nebraska.
Surviving, besides her husband, are two sons, Ed Townsley of Fairfax and Russ Townsley of Santa Rosa; a brother, John Adams of Joliet, Mont., three sisters, Ruth Lane and Sylvia Sanders, both of Mountain Grove, Mo.; Mable Ann Walley of Sebring, Fla; and two grandchildren.
Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
