GEORGE SCHNEIDER
A Mass of Christian Burial for George Schneider of Fairfax, a Marin resident for the past seven years, will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Rita’s Church in Fairfax.
Schneider died Sunday unexpectedly at a local hospital. He was 57.
He was native of San Francisco and lived there until about 1973 when he moved to Marin.
He was an office manager for an electronics repair firm for the past five years.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Schneider; two sons, Larry Morgan of San Anselmo and Anthony Morgan of Fairfax; three daughters, Carol Thoennes, Celeste James and Stephanie Schneider, all of Fairfax; and 10 grandchildren.
Inurnment will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
The rosary will be recited at 8 tonight at the Chapel of the Hills mortuary in San Anselmo.
The family prefers memorial gifts to a favorite charity. Friends may call at the mortuary today from 4 to 9 p.m.

July 8th, 1980 issue of same paper:
Surviving are his daughter, Carol Thoennes of San Anselmo, and 19 grandchildren. The Independent Journal erred in reporting his survivors in an obituary on Monday.
