Marks (sic) Samter, a retired wholesale merchant of San Francisco, passed away last Saturday at Ross after a long illness. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Augusta Samter and these children: Mrs. S. F. Wolfe, Samuel Samter, Mrs. L. S. Hirsch, Mrs. Louis Levy and Mrs. Louis C. Jacobs. The funeral was held Monday in San Francisco.
