JOHN HART DAVISON
A funeral for John Hart Davison of Santa Rosa, a former Marin resident for many years, will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Fred Young and Co. mortuary in Healdsburg, Sonoma County.
Davison died at a Santa Rosa area hospital Sunday following a lengthy illness. He was 57.
Davison was a native of Iowa and moved to California in 1942.
He served in the Air Force during World War II. He moved to Marin shortly after moving to California.
He worked for the Pacific Gas and Electric Co. in Marin for many years as a corrosion mechanic. He worked replacing lines that deteriorated because of exposure.
Davison moved to Healdsburg in 1971.
He was married to Hilda Ann Davison who died before him.
He is survived by a son, John R. Davison of Japan; two daughters, Judy Ann Soldavini of Concord and Jean Louise Mahan of San Jose; and five grandchildren.
Inurnment will be in Santa Rosa. The family prefers memorial donations to the Heart Association of the Redwood Empire, P.O. Box 844, Santa Rosa 95402.
