MARSH W. BULL
A memorial service for Marsh Winholz Bull of Santa Rosa, a former resident of Ross, will be held at noon Thursday at Trinity Episcopal Church, Sonoma.
Bull, 74, died Friday in a Santa Rosa hospital after a brief illness.
Bull was born in Syracuse, N.Y., and lived in Ross from 1952 to 1962. He moved to Santa Rosa from New Jersey nine years ago.
Bull was the retired vice president of a firm that manufactures engineering equipment.
Bull was a commander in the Navy during World War II, serving in the South Pacific as the personnel officer for the 7th Fleet.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; two sons, Michael Bull of Kentfield and Christopher Bull of Antioch; and two grandchildren.
His family asked that memorial contributions go to the American Cancer Society.
