MARTHA MAQUIGNAZ
Martha Hyams Maquignaz of San Rafael, the former postmaster of Lagunitas, died Monday in a local retirement home. She was 94.
She also worked a number of years as secretary to the late George M. Dodge, county surveyor and for the Marin County Title and Abstract Co.
Mrs. Maquignaz was born in San Rafael and was a lifelong Marin County resident.
She was the wife of the late John B. Maquignaz.
She is survived by one sister, Margaret Hyams McCabe of San Rafael.
The funeral will be private. The rosary will be recited at 7 tonight in the Nazareth House, 245 Nova Albion Way. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
The family prefers memorial contributions to Nazareth House.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the aunt of Eleanor McGarr.
