James Giblin Dies

James F. Giblin, a resident of Sausalito for twenty years, died suddenly from heart disease at his home last Sunday morning. The announcement of his death was a surprise to many as he was apparently in the best of health and never complained of illness.

He was a native of Watertown, Wisconsin, 61 years of age and was the brother of Cormac F. Giblin of Sausalito; Paul, Sara and Mary Giblin of Watertown, Wisconsin.

Funeral services were held in St. Raphael’s Catholic church in San Rafael on Friday and the remains were laid away in Holy Cross cemetery in San Mateo county.

The deceased held a responsible position with Wells Fargo & Co. Express for twenty years and was retired on a pension for faithful services in 1913. When the war broke out he resumed employment in the auditing department.

Mr. Giblin was a man of very fine character, highly esteemed by all the officials, employees and patrons of Wells Fargo that he ever came in contact with. Sausalito loses a good citizen.
