MARY KAMEHAIKU FOGLESONG
Entered into rest at home on Friday, June 22, 2001. Born June 24, 1923 in Kona, Hawaii, she was 77 years old. A Fremont resident for eight years and previously a 35-year resident of San Rafael. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, cooking, and loved her 'Ohana and visiting her home in Hawaii. She was a member of Marin Rod & Gun Club, Ladies Auxiliary, and Ka'ahumanu Wahine Club of Hawaii.
Devoted wife of the late Jesse Clyde Foglesong. Beloved mother of Kaipolani Taverna of Petaluma, Ka'ala Roberson of Fremont, Kanoelehua Billetter of Alameda, Kamiki Foglesong of Cotati, the late Alvin Foglesong and the late Mario Foglesong. Loving grandmother of David Allen Dunsmore, Steve Kamiki Dunsmore, Chasity "Sheri" Kanoelehua Sisco, Kamuela Mario Jacobs, David Kimo Jacobs, Kevin Foglesong, Lisa Foglesong, Trisha Foglesong, Julie Kaipolani Billetter, Leslie Ka'ala Billetter, Jeff Billetter and Louis Billetter. Great-grandmother of Jason Dunsmore, Kenny Dunsmore, Jack Daniel Sisco, Marcus Billetter, Jackie Billetter and "Keiki" Foglesong. Dearest sister of Helena Palakiko Kalele, and the late Moses "Moke" Kalele, Samuel Kamiki Kalele and Minnie Maunu Kalele.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service Thursday, June 28th at 7:00 p.m. to be held in the Chapel of Berge-Pappas-Smith Mortuary, 40842 Fremont Blvd. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 26th from 2 - 8 p.m. and Wednesday, June 27th from 4 - 8 p.m. Burial will take place at Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
