Agnes Ritchie Passes Away
Miss Agnes Ritchie, daughter of William Ritchie and sister of Wm. Lloyd Ritchie, died in St. Luke’s hospital, San Francisco, on Thursday after several weeks’ illness.
The death was a great surprise and shock to many of her friends, although her intimate friends knew that her condition was serious. Funeral services will be held in Gray’s funeral parlors this Saturday afternoon.
She was a native of Sausalito and one beloved by all for her admirable qualities and her devotion to her parents. For several years past and up to her illness she held an important position in the San Francisco general agency of a big insurance company.
She was a true friend, and her devotion to those she loved would make a bright chapter in any life. Nothing but the thought of the loving hand that has removed her can reconcile her to her sorrowing brother and father and her many friends to her absence. While she has gone from the scenes, conflicts, the sorrows and pleasures of life, she will still live in the hearts of those who knew her best. She was a kind loving daughter, and her devotion to the family had no limit.
