Dr. Herman Conradt Dies In Novato
Dr. Herman J. Conradt, one of Novato’s foremost citizens, passed away at his home there Tuesday night of complications incident to advanced age. He was 70 years old.
Dr. Conradt was for many years a practicing dentist in San Francisco. Some time ago he retired and purchased a beautiful home in Novato. After a few years there he was elected to the office of Justice of the Peace, which he filled for several terms.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Marie Conradt, and four daughters, Miss Charlotte Conradt, a teacher in the Yolanda school; Mrs. Minnie Lawrence, Mrs. Emma Skidmore and Mrs. Eda Buffam. He was the father also of the late Mrs. Martha King.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock tomorrow at Gray’s Parlors in San Francisco, and burial will be made under the direction of the F. E. Sawyer Company.
