Body Of Sailor Boy Found At Belvedere
The body of a young sailor boy, aged 17 years, and believed to be that of John Aloysius Jones, was found on the shore of Belvedere last Friday and removed to San Rafael by Coroner J. Ray Keaton and Deputy Coroner Sorensen.
The body was partially identified as that of Jones by Lieutenant Visalti. Young Jones was the only sailor reported missing in the bay district during the last two months. On November 24, he said, Jones fell from a small boat which was being hoisted to the davets of the U.S.S. Mexico off the Folsom street wharf, and his body could not be recovered.
The body was turned over Saturday to the naval authorities after an examination had been made by County Physician J. H. Kuser.
