Luther Paulson Rites Set

Funeral for Luther L. Paulson, 88, of 1618 Grand Avenue, San Rafael, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Mausoleum Chapel of Mountain View Cemetery, 5000 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland.

Paulson, a retired building contractor, died at a local hospital Saturday after a long illness.

A native of Portland, Ore., Paulson had lived most of his life in Monterey County, where he was a well-known builder. He was the builder of a portion of Pacific Grove High School.

He retired 23 years ago and had been a resident of San Rafael for six months. He had been a member of the Eagles and Elks lodges.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Jane Paulson, now staying in Sacramento; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Mitchell of Portland, Ore., four (sic) daughters, Mrs. Orma Wentz of Seaside, Monterey County, Mrs. Virginia Fritcher, Anchorage, Alaska, and Mrs. June Grime, San Rafael, a son, Reno Vandersloot, San Jose; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Friends may call at the Harry M. William Mortuary, San Rafael until 9 p.m. Tuesday. Entombment will be at Mountain View Mausoleum.

A Death Notice in the same paper states that Luther Lee Paulson was also the father of Mrs. Verda Suetta of Sacramento. Funeral was held at the Mausoleum Chapel of Mountain View Cemetery, 5000 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland.
