Prominent Bolinas Resident Passes
Desiderio Garzoli, a resident of Bolinas for more than a half century, and one of the prominent ranchers of Marin county, passed away at his home yesterday after an illness. Of some weeks at the age of 77 years.
Mr. Garzoli came to Marin county from Switzerland 53 years ago. With unremitting attention to business he prospered until he amassed a large estate, comprising two of the best ranches in Marin county – one at Bolinas and one at Tocaloma.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 10:30, with services at the Catholic Church in Bolinas. The interment, under the direction of the F. E. Sawyer Company, will be made in the Bolinas cemetery.
The deceased is survived by a widow, Mrs. Assunta Garzoli, and seven children. They are Mrs. P. Berta, Mrs. A. Bonaiti, Mrs. D. F. Bernardi, and Bessie, Emma, Ulysses and Frank Garzoli.
It is expected that the funeral services tomorrow will be attended by a large number of hosts of friends of the deceased as his sorrowing family.
