Former Marin Woman Dies in San Francisco

Mrs. Nellie Gilroy, wife of Peter F. Gilroy, passed away in San Francisco last Friday after an illness of five days. She was the wife of Peter F. Gilroy, well known in Marin county, and deputy head consul of the Woodmen of the World.

Mrs. Gilroy was prominent in the Neighbors of Woodcraft, the women’s branch of the Woodmen’s organization. Mrs. Gilroy is survived by her husband and a son, Norman T. Gilroy, an employee of the U. S. Government. The funeral was held Monday, with services at St. Mary’s Cathedral, San Francisco. and burial was made in Holy Cross cemetery, San Mateo.
