Mrs. Glidden Succumbs To Long Illness
Mrs. Carrie S. Glidden passed away last Saturday after a long illness which had kept her confined for many months. She had lived in San Rafael for a great many years and numbered scores of residents as close and personal friends.
She was the widow of the late Frank G. Glidden, a veteran of the Civil War, and the mother of Miss Ida Glidden.
The funeral was held Tuesday morning, with services at St. Raphael’s church, where a requiem mass was celebrated. The burial took place at Mt. Olivet cemetery under the direction of the Mary Eden Funeral Parlors.
