Well Known Ross Woman Passes To Beyond

Mrs. George E. Butler passed away last Thursday evening at her home in Ross. She and her husband had resided in this county for many years and both were prominent in social and civic circles.

The funeral services, largely attended, were held at St. John’s Church in Ross Saturday afternoon, with Bishop William Ford Nichols and Rev. C. P. Deems officiating.

Mrs. Butler was a member for two years of the board of managers of the California State Woman’s Hospital association. The interment was under the direction of the F. E. Sawyer Company.
