Sister Joan Glynn
Sister Joan Glynn, a Dominican sister since 1916, died Monday in the Dominican Convent in San Rafael. She was 84.
Sister Glynn had lived in the convent since 1960. A native of San Francisco, she was a schoolteacher in Vallejo, Stockton and San Francisco from 1916 to 1960.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Edith Sweeney.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Dominican Convent. Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the convent.
Memorial contributions are preferred to the Dominican Sisters’ Infirmary.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the sister of the late John, Charles, Edward, Harold, Clement and Anthony Glynn, Rita Glynn, Florence Russell and Jane Walsh. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
