JEAN C. PIERCE
A private service has been held for Jean C. Pierce, former owner of a Mill Valley variety store.
Ms. Pierce, 83, died at home after a long illness.
She was born in Boston, Mass. She moved to Mill Valley in 1942. She and her sister ran the Locust Variety Store for many years.
She has no surviving relatives.
