BERTHA LA PAYNE
Bertha La Payne of San Rafael died Saturday in the emergency room of a local hospital. She was 82.
Arrangements are pending at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.

BERTHA M. LA PAYNE
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday at St. Raphael’s Church in San Rafael for Bertha Mary La Payne, a resident of San Rafael wince 1951.
Mrs. La Payne died unexpectedly Sunday. She was 83.
She was born in Iowa and was in business in Illinois before moving to California.
She is survived by three sisters, Martha McKenna of San Rafael, Lauretta La Bore of Rockford, Ill., and Sister Mary Charles Kern of Dubuque, Iowa.
Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael.
