Death Follows Taking of Poison By Mistake
Frank Carroll, employed for the past five or six months by the real estate firm of Bowman & Carrere, passed away early Monday morning at the Cottage Hospital, the result of taking poison by mistake. It is reported that, intending to take a remedy for a slight affliction, he mixed medicine in a glass which had contained Kellogg’s Ant Paste, the basic composition of which is strychnine.
He was removed to the hospital where he was under treatment for three or four days before death came.
Carroll was about 40 years of age. He resided on Antoinette avenue and is survived by a widow. The funeral was held under the direction of the F. E. Sawyer Company.
